Shiromi commenced her work at the National Health Co-op as a registered general practitioner in 2013, following extensive work experience and training in Sri Lanka.
Prior to joining the National Health Co-op, Shiromi practiced as a GP and Medical Officer at Sri Jayawardanapura General Hospital.
Shiromi obtained her medical degree from the University of North Colombo Medical College in Sri Lanka. She obtained a Diploma in Transfusion medicine from the University of Post Graduate Institute of Medicine in Colombo, Sri Lanka and has achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
