Linda is an experienced board and audit committee member. She is currently a member of the Department of Defence First Principles Review Oversight Board and Canberra Cemeteries Board. She is Chair of the Canberra Cemeteries Audit Committee and a member of Carer’s Australia Finance, Audit, Risk and Governance Committee.

Linda is currently a senior consultant with Bull and Bear Special Assignments (BBSA). She has advised Commonwealth and State Government agencies on strategic issues, change management, learning and development and board governance.

Linda held a variety of roles in the Australian Public Service and was the General Manager of the College of Arts and Social Sciences at the Australian National University (ANU).

Linda was a senior executive with the Office of the Australian Building and Construction Commissioner (ABCC), the Department of Health and Ageing and the Department of Transport and Regional Services. Some of Linda’s achievements include successfully negotiating the National Partnership Agreement for Essential Vaccines, and the purchase of the H1N1 (swine flu) vaccine in response to the WHO declared pandemic, leading the development of two tranches of Private Health Insurance reform, being part of the Sydney airport sales team, and designing and implementing the Air Passenger Ticket Levy introduced after Ansett Airlines collapsed. These roles gave Linda significant exposure to ministers, the workings of ministerial offices and the skills necessary to effectively manage State/Territory, international, commercial and community stakeholder relations.
