Joe commenced his work at the National Health Co-op as a registered General Practitioner in 2012 following extensive work experience and training in Queensland, South Africa, Botswana and Nigeria. Prior to joining the National Health Co-op, Joe practiced at Hervey Bay Hospital in Queensland.
Joe obtained his primary medical degree from the University of Ilorin in Nigeria. He obtained a Master of Medicine in Family Medicine from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. Joe is also a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds an Australian Medical Council Certificate.
Joe brings essential clinical knowledge and experience to the National Health Co-op’s Executive that enables decision making to support the delivery of the best possible level of care.
