Sam commenced his work at the National Health Co-op as a Physiotherapist and Accredited Exercise Physiologist in August 2017.
Sam obtained a Bachelor of Human Movement (Exercise Rehabilitation) undergraduate degree at Charles Stuart University in 2008 and completed a Master of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Canberra in 2011. He also completed a Graduate Certificate of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at LaTrobe University in 2015, and has worked as both a Physiotherapist and Accredited Exercise Physiologist within Canberra and the Mid-North Coast for over 6 years.
Sam has extensive experience managing and treating various problems including back and neck pain, lumbo-pelvic pain, sports injuries and migraine / headaches. He is trained in spinal physiotherapy, dry needling, clinical pilates, kinesiology taping, exercise prescription and specialised migraine headache physiotherapy.
Jacinta is an experienced physiotherapist who joined the NHC in 2021.
Her treatment approach is to provide quality, evidence based manual therapy and exercise prescription to assist people in all stages of life to manage their injuries, achieve their goals and lead a healthy lifestyle. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Biology and a Masters of Physiotherapy, both achieved at the University of Canberra. Her professional experience spans musculoskeletal private practices, aged care providers and hospitals, meaning she has extensive experience with sports injuries, occupational injuries, orthopaedics, chronic conditions, aged care, dry needling, hydrotherapy and much more.
Outside of work she’s a proud Mum who loves netball, knitting and baking.

Sam Payne is a Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist, who works hand in hand with our doctors to deliver great results for his patients. He is knowledgeable across chronic neck and back pain, sports injuries, workplace injuries, migraine relief and much more. As an exercise physiologist he can also advise on how exercise can be used to manage chronic diseases like arthritis, cardiovascular disease and depression.
Jacinta Searles has joined our team in 2021 and has extensive experience in private practice, aged care and hospital settings. Her areas of clinical interest include musculoskeletal and sports injuries, orthopaedic rehabilitation, dry needling, hydrotherapy and strength and conditioning.
