Healthcare for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community

If you are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander patient, our clinical team is committed to your personal needs and care.  This includes services which are available exclusively to the Indigenous community, all of which can be accessed at any of our 8 clinics.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Assessment

The ATSI Health Assessment is specifically designed for the health needs of Indigenous Australians.  It is a thorough assessment spanning physical, mental and social wellbeing, with particular focus on the symptoms and conditions which can affect First Nations communities.

As an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander patient you are eligible to receive a free assessment annually.

If you’d like to book an ATSI Health Assessment, please call us on (02) 6178 0400 during office hours.  Unfortunately, this appointment can’t be booked online.

Closing the Gap Registration

The Closing the Gap incentive as part of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) allows Indigenous people at risk of chronic disease to get discounts on important medications.  Your doctor will be able to tell you more about the scheme and help you register if you’re eligible.
