Getting to the NHC Macquarie Medical Centre
Our Macquarie clinic is located at the Macquarie shops off Lachlan St, less than 2kms from the Jamison Centre and Belconnen Town Centre. There is plenty of parking onsite, and though sadly no buses pass directly by the clinic the 32 can drop you a short walk from the clinic. A Priceline Pharmacy is conveniently located right next door for all your chemist needs.

We have 4 GPs and a Practice Nurse at our Macquarie medical practice. As well as general health, our team has expertise in a range of areas including:

Dr Shiva Lotfi
Dr Shiva commenced her work at the National Health Co-op as a registered General Practitioner in 2019, following extensive work experience and training in general practice in Iran.
Prior to joining the National Health Co-op, Dr Shiva practiced as a General Practitioner at Valiasr Clinic in Iran.
Dr Shiva obtained her medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran.
Dr Joe Oguns
Joe commenced his work at the National Health Co-op as a registered General Practitioner in 2012 following extensive work experience and training in Queensland, South Africa, Botswana and Nigeria.
Prior to joining the National Health Co-op, Joe practiced at Hervey Bay Hospital in Queensland.
Joe obtained his primary medical degree from the University of Ilorin in Nigeria. He obtained a Master of Medicine in Family Medicine from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. Joe is also a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, holds an AMC certificate and a Graduate Diploma in Occupational and Environmental Health from Monash University.

Dr Rasika Rajapakse
Dr. Rasika commenced her work at the National Health Co-op as a registered General Practitioner in 2014, following extensive work experience and training in Sri Lanka.
Dr. Rasika obtained her medical degree from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura, Sri Lanka. She obtained an MSc in Clinical Genetics from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and Post Graduate Diploma in Health Informatics from George Brown College, Toronto, Canada. Rasika is also a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Yifang Wu
Yifang commenced her work at the National Health Co-op as a registered general practitioner registrar in August 2019. Following extensive work experience and training at Canberra, Wagga Wagga and Queanbeyan.
Prior to joining the National Health Co-op, Yifang practiced as a general practitioner registrar at Queanbeyan GP Super Clinic.
Yifang obtained her medical degree from the Australian National University in Canberra.
Keith Ancheta
Keith commenced her work at the National Health Co-op as a Practice Nurse in November 2015 following extensive work experience and training in Baguio City, Philippines.
Prior to joining the National Health Co-op, Keith practiced as a Registered Nurse/Nurse Unit Manager at Harbison Care.
Keith obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the Saint Louis University in the Philippines.

Telehealth is a great way to get medical advice from the comfort of your own home. Due to the pandemic, there are certain patients who we strongly advise not to attend the clinic in person. Please book for Telehealth if you have;
- COVID symptoms and are yet to receive a negative test result.
- Returned from overseas in the last 14 days.
