In Australia, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 85. The good news is that research has shown that regular screening of women over the age of 50 has been effective in reducing deaths from breast cancer through early detection.
Anyone interested in learning more about what breast screening involves and the important role it plays in women’s health is encouraged to attend. You are welcome to invite a guest.
What: Breast Screening Information Session
When: Tuesday, 31 January at 5:45pm for a 6pm start, finishing at 7:00pm
Where: National Health Co-op Corporate Office Training Room – 5-7 Lawry Pl, Macquarie ACT
