Case Studies

ActewAGL is the Canberra Region’s local energy provider and has been committed to those who live here for over 100 years.  Our relationship with ActewAGL began in 2018 and since then, through great work and support we have become ActewAGL’s ‘company doctor’.

The NHC provides services to ActewAGL employees in the ACT across multiple departments including Icon Water and Evoenergy.  We provide healthcare support for workplace injury management with hundreds of appointments across several NHC Clinics. We are proud to be working alongside imaging and pathology providers in the ACT to perform regular workplace health monitoring such as asbestos and lead testing for ActewAGL employees.

Salvation Army Oasis Youth Emergency Accommodation Network

Oasis Youth Support Network provides 24-hour emergency accommodation to young people whilst assisting them in working towards sourcing long-term, stable accommodation.

The NHC provides free membership to youth who are seeking support through the Emergency Accommodation program, allowing them to access free healthcare at any of our clinics.

Justice Health Services

Great relationships with Governments at all levels is an important part of providing a great community service.  We work closely with the ACT Government Justice Health Services and provide free healthcare to young people who have been recently released from detention and rehabilitation centres providing them with support in their return to the community.

On 21 June 2021, Michael Slaven and Aaron Torline were appointed Administrators of the National Health Co-operative Ltd.
