Taking care of your heart is an important step in maintaining good health; sadly, heart disease is the leading cause of death in Australian men and women. The good news is that heart disease is often preventable, and the best way to look after your heart is by leading a healthy lifestyle.
To help our community learn more about this subject, the National Health Co-op, in collaboration with Heart Foundation ACT and Service One Alliance Bank, is holding a FREE information session on Thursday, 21 September 2017 to discuss heart health and the impact it has on your everyday life.
In this session, learn about:
- What heart disease is,
- What the risk factors are,
- What the signs and symptoms of a heart attack are,
- How to eat & exercise for a healthy heart, and
- Tips for making lifestyle changes
Anyone interested in learning more about maintaining good heart health is encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served, and you are welcome to bring along a guest.
