Today we officially opened the National Health Co-op’s newest clinic in Higgins, ACT

The NHC’s CEO, Mr Adrian Watts and Deputy CEO, Mr Blake Wilson were delighted to be joined by Shadow Health Minister, Mr Jeremy Hanson MLA and Mr John Clarke, Chair – SERVICE ONE Mutual Limited (SERVICE ONE) for the opening.

The new Higgins clinic is the National Health Co-op’s eighth in Canberra and sixth clinic in Belconnen. The new clinic continues the National Health Co-op’s rapid growth in Canberra and further expands the Co-op’s ability to provide bulk billing GPs to its growing membership.

This expansion into Higgins was made possible with the continuing support from both our community and the SERVICE ONE Alliance Bank. Higgins is the third NHC clinic that has been developed with the support of SERVICE ONE, and we are delighted to have this relationship with a like-minded organisation who are focussed on investing in the community. In addition to the financial support provided to establish this new clinic, SERVICE ONE Alliance Bank has committed to provide further benefits to all NHC members through discounted home and car loan rates.
